The Directorate of Youth Resources & Sports, Govt. of Nagaland, in collaboration with the NSS Wing, Yingli College, Longleng, organized the District Youth Festival 2025 on September 13, 2025. The event was held at Borgohain Hall, Yingli College, and featured competitions in Declamation, Folk Song, and Folk Dance.

Winners:

- Declamation:

    - First Position: Ms. Chuthai L Phom (Yingli College)

    - Second Position: Ms. Denten Phom (Bautung Govt. Hr. Secondary School)

- Folk Song:

    - First Position: Yingli College 5th Semester Students

    - Second Position: Orangkong Village Youth

- Folk Dance:

    - First Position: Bautung Govt. Hr. Secondary School, Longleng

    - Second Position: Yingli College, Longleng

Program Highlights:

- Chaired by Ms. Kiriahungle Haihing, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology

- Welcome address by Dr. B. Henshet Phom, Vice-Principal, Yingli College

- Vote of thanks by Ms. Dhapne Chungphang, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology

- Attended by 116 participants, including NSS Volunteers

The festival showcased the talents of local youth and fostered cultural exchange among participating institutions.
