NSS Yingli College x Dept. of Youth Resources and Sports | Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect | 06.08.2025

On
6th August 2025, The NSS cell Yingli College in collaboration with the
Department of Youth Resources and Sports, Government of Nagaland, organised
three pre-event competitions in the district level as  part of the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect
Programme 2025. The events include

 i) My Bharat Portal Registration ii) Youth
Parliament iii) Debate Competition.

by NSS member Smt  Kiriahungle Haihing,
Assistant Professor Department of Sociology.

The
Vice Principal, Yingli College, Dr. B Henshet Phom gave the opening remarks and
the District Sports Officer Shri Kenongoto Thokhwe gave an exhortation.

The

Dr. Mahabir Jha, HOD & Associate Professor Department of Political Science.

ii)
Shri Yanyak, Assistant Professor Department of Political Science

iii)
Mr Mhonjan N Odyuo, HOD & Assistant Professor Department of History.

The
best debater for motion was secured by Ms Chuthai L Phom and Ms Phangmei Phom
as the best debater for against the motion. The first position in Youth
Parliament was bagged by Ms Kehungngaule Haihing, Ms Hentong in the Second
position and Ms Ladong in the third position. The winners of the competitions
will be representing the district in the state level Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect
Programme 2025.
